Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Karis graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School where she excelled in track as a javelin thrower. Her accomplishments in track took her south to the University of Oregon where she earned her B.S. in Biology and Exercise and Movement Science and became an accomplished, nationally ranked, collegiate athlete. Dr. Karis graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 2005. While attending WSCC, Dr. Karis served as Vice President of the Sports Medicine Club, treating athletes at many local sporting events.

In 2006, Dr. Karis and Dr. Cooper started their own practice, Cooper Chiropractic, in Vancouver, Washington. Dr. Karis is particularly interested in treating pregnant mothers, children and families. Dr. Karis is currently working toward her Diplomate in Pediatric and Family Wellness.

During her free time, Dr. Karis enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Dr. Karis’s hobbies include gardening, reading, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and camping.
